Summary: This paper aims to analyze the political participation of workers in the state - owned enterprises of Cuba in the context of the Actualización del Modelo Económico y Social. From this context and its legal framework, it is believed that there is an expansion of the political participation of workers in Cuban state enterprises, which is understood as fundamental for the social appropriation of production in processes of transition to socialism. Thus, the work that follows discusses the social appropriation of production, the forms of ownership and the role of state enterprise, the political form of participation in society in general, and the political participation of workers in state enterprises. All these elements are considered throughout processes of transition to socialism, which do not have parameters of form, time or space. Initially, more general reflections were carried out, which subsidized the analyzes for the particular case of recent changes in the transition to socialism in Cuba.
