Summary: The present work refers to the apprehension of the human emancipation category in the production of knowledge of the Social Service area on the ethical-political project. To do so, a bilateral investigation is necessary in two journals, with a great impact on the production of knowledge of the area, between 2000 and 2018: Social Service and Society and Revista Katálysis. As a means of analysis and use as thematic categories, it is an emancipation as a state of being that
makes its emancipation in freedom (real) and work (praxis). An understanding of human emancipation within the dialectical critical perspective, which considers work, while exercising human activity free, conscious and enabling the realization of human subjectivity. It observes that the authors, in defense of instruments, instances and extensions of the spaces constituted within the capitalist bourgeoisie, recognize the limits of this, within capitalist society. What signals us what is more important than the campaigns that approach the Ethical-Political Project and that bring a sense of human emancipation, they express a difference between human emancipation and political emancipation.
