Summary: The present dissertation sought to investigate the particular mosaic of common sense of our time. Therefore, it was necessary to unravel the structural determinations of common sense to explain what conditions the most immediate way of thinking and acting at that moment. Following the clues of Lukács, Gramsci, Heller, Lefebvre, José Paulo Netto, Mauro Iasi, among others, we arrive at the concepts of common sense, everyday life, structure of
everyday life, spontaneous materialism, consciousness, process of consciousness, alienation, reification, fetishism and ideology. With these mediations in hand, the effort was to reconstitute the internal nexus of the object, an undertaking that sought to add to a task that is collective, using the mediations that allowed us to take some facets of the object and its corresponding way of life out of the shadows. In this way, by densifying the object, we are able to point out why common sense has changed so negatively to the point of becoming receptive to fascism? For that, this itinerary went through the analysis of the impacts of the brutal changes of the capitalist reconfiguration on everyday life, guided by blind accumulation, and by fascist tendencies that shape life in an increasingly coercive and demeaning way.
