Summary: This dissertation intends to analyze the precariousness of labor relations in the context of the post-productive restructuring of the 1970s, specifically the phenomenon more recently known as the uberization of work in contemporary Brazil, its meaning and consequences in the last decade. Historically contextualizing the fall of Taylorism-Fordism and the emergence of Toyotism, as well as the ills of neoliberalism from the 90s onwards, it was possible to understand both the concept of flexible work and the normalization of informality. Uberization represents one of the facets of the informalization of work, which now mobilizes a multitude of workers mainly through technological mechanisms, such as the company Uber, which names the concept for spreading and exposing the trends of this exploitation of work through the digital model of work. apps. In this way, it is intended to discuss this work organization, problematizing the contradictions inherent to uberization, such as themes of autonomy, freedom, management and social rights. Pervading systematic notions of control and subordination, often outside the management of the working class itself, the study uses the company Uber as an example throughout its execution, but also evoking other circumstances of precarious work, including in the most current pandemic scenario caused by Covid-19. The theoretical contribution, carried out with qualitative bibliographical research from the conceptualization made by authors of a Marxist nature, uses the references of the capital/work association to discuss and ponder during the development of the text, culminating in the reflection of future trends and unfolding of the uberization process, while the working class remains subjugated to the maintenance of the system of capital domination.
